Fine Restaurants for the House Fundraiser
Claire's Corner Copia, Basta Trattoria, D'Erricos, Christopher Martins, and Duffy's Tavern all celebrate the 20th Anniversary
Many of New Havens finest restaurants hosted a fundraiser to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut. The first in a series of evenings where proceeds from an evening of fine dining are donated to the House began at Claires Corner Copia at 1000 Chapel Street and Basta Trattoria located at 1006 Chapel Street in downtown New Haven. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
Claires offers the finest vegetarian menu in the greater New Haven area while Basta Trattoria offers a very diversified Italian menu. Both restaurants are owned and operated by Claire and Frank Criscuolo.

Claire has been a community supporter for many years assisting Not-For-Profit Organizations in their fund raising efforts including Children In Placement, Easter Seals, Aids Project New Haven, St. Judes, Leukemia Society and Rachels Table to name a few. In 2003, she was honored by the Greater New Haven Association of Volunteer Administrators for her volunteer efforts for these agencies and in 2002 was voted Small Business Person Of The Year by Business New Haven Magazine. D'Erricos, The Greek Olive, Christopher Martins, Duffy's Tavern of West Haven and Laskara's Restaurant in Wallingford also participated in this year long event, all donating a percentage of proceeds from the evening to the Ronald McDonald House in celebration of the 20th Anniverary of the House.
