Mission Statement

The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut is a "home away from home" primarily for families of children who are being treated at nearby hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

Comedy Night Fundraiser - May 3rd, 2008

"Laughter is the closest distance between two people." Victor Borge... The Ronald McDonald House is pleased to announce the Annual Comedy Night Fundraiser, May 3rd, 2008, at the Omni Hotel in New Haven. The evening includes a 3 course dinner and 2 stand-up headliners that will have everyone roaring with laughter. (flyer)

23rd Annual CT Kids Classic Golf Tournament

Connecticut Kids Classic Golf Tournament

Each year the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut presents the Ronald McDonald House Kids Classic Golf Tournament. Participants include members of the local business community and medical personnel. Jim Calhoun, Head Coach of the UCONN Huskies, Men's Basketball Team is the Honorary Chairman of this event. more info...

Annual East Rock Run - September

East Rock Run

The Annual East Rock Run for the Ronald McDonald House of CT took place in September at East Rock Park in New Haven. Runners enjoyed a competitive challenge on the USATF sanctioned 5-mile race to the summit of East Rock and back or an easier, two-mile fitness walk. Trophies were awarded to the first overall finishers and to the top three finishers in each age category. Long sleeve t-shirts were awared to all pre-registered runners and to the first 100 participants on the day of the race. more info...

Our 17th Annual Trees of Hope event was held at the Long Wharf Maritime Center in New Haven. The event featured dozens of elegantly decorated holiday trees and an upscale Boutique. more info...

 

Lights of Love

Since 1987, Connecticut school children have been the heart of the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut Lights of Love fund raising campaign. Inspired by the generosity of one Cheshire student, the campaign has grown to include the participation of thousands of children from public and private schools throughout the state. more info...

Spring Concerts Benefit House - April/May

Carl Orff's Carmina Burana was performed by the Fairfield County Chorale, the Fairfield County Children's Choir, and the Civic Orchestra of New Haven at two locations. Both concerts were at 8 PM, general admission tickets $30. Read more... "The Lasting Appeal of Orff's Carmina Burana"
